Data and first evaluations on cases of domestic violence - Verona and its province, 2006, 2007, 2008
We have checked the effectiveness of monitoring through an extensive investigation and a thorough search of formal documents, and we have detected any changes capable of showing new "emergencies" and confirming the extent of the "male as victim " and the phenomenon of recurring violence and " mutual violence " in the same episode.
First data in Verona and its territory - 2010
The first monitored period in Vicenza may show some element of approximation and the result of detection modes to be improved, but also the peculiarities of the "culture " in the territory and / or many other causes. It's quite impressive to notice that about 1/3 of the victims are male and, on the contrary, a little less than 1/3 of the perpetrators of violent acts in the family are female.
First data in Vicenza and its territory - 2010 - 2011
The collection of data and analysis indicates a substantial convergence of many aspects and results with other examined realities, and it also shows some interesting peculiarities. The economic reasons (18%) are stonger than all the other causes. Problems concerning division of property, inheritance etc. in other words "money" is the only and undisputed value in this territory.
First six-monthly monitoring in Rovigo and its territory - 2011
There is a very important element: the acquired data formally locate the "reiteration", for about half, in a "short" time , but 28 victims have been referring to the same violent acts for about one year.
First data in Treviso and its territory - 2011
In 80% of these cases we can speak of "horizontal violence" (spouses / cohabitants etc.), while in 14% it's "vertical violence" (parents, children). The seriousness of the problem is shown by 56 victims (39%, more than ¹ / 3) that have required immediate medical treatment. First data in Brescia and its territory - second semester in 2011 / first semester in 2012.
The core of the problem lies in the violence motivations that in every situation constantly (between 30% and 40%) show the couple's breakup and the "critical stage" to which children, jealousy and money can be added.
